Rodecker rammed the van twice, but the patrol car had little effect against such a large vehichle. Klein had radioed in the chase, and was trying to shoot the van's tires, but couldn't get a clear shot as it weaved through traffic.

"We're gonna need a bigger gun, drive!" Rodecker shouted, swiftly reclining his seat and rolling into the rear of the car. Klein jumped over to the driver's seat and raised the seatback, weaving to avoid a spray of bullets from the van's passenger as he yelled back at Rodecker.

"You're not seriously gonna try to put that thing on in the car are you?" He asked, looking back for a brief moment to catch Rodecker hauling the Zaku armor over the folded backseat.

"Just shut up and don't lose him!" Rodecker odered, in surprisingly little time, he was wearing the upper half of his armor, and working on getting the lower half on. Klein looked back again, only to see an old, olive drab Zaku demanding he pop the trunk.

As the van slid and fishtailed across oncoming traffic, the patrol car clung to it's tail, the aging green armor climbing out to stand in the trunk of the car, gripping the roof through the rear driver-side window. Flipping on the onboard loudspeaker, Rodecker spoke.

"Stop your vehichle or we'll stop it for you!" He said, a gunshot pinging off his left shoulder told him they didn't plan to stop. Raising the 10.5mm machinegun, Rodecker took careful aim and fired a series of bursts. Bullets ripped through the bumper of the van, one or two reaching the rear tires, shredding them. The van pitched and swerved, but couldn't regain control and slid into the curb, rolling twice before coming to a halt on it's side. The driver and passenger lept from the van in rather odd looking powered armors, but chose to flee rather than stand and fight the lone Zaku.

"Damn it, we'll never catch them without backup, and things are pretty tied up with that hostage situation..." Rodecker said, stepping off the car to check the van for any additional perps. Ripping the rear door off the van, he leans inside gun first, then suddenly steps back in shock.

"Hey kid, you'd better come take a look at this." Rodecker said, motioning Klein to a skeletal frame of a powered armor, mounted on a rack that seemed to have extended out of a large case. Looking down, they could see a variety of weapons in the case, along with a laptop labled 'HEXA initial setup'.
